Namaste!

I’m a student from India, one of the richest culture inheriting countries in the world. When I got an opportunity to visit New Zealand during my vacations, I knew this was going to be the memorable one.

More than 15 hours of traveling time felt like a big hurdle but the moment the plane got over the snowcapped hills of Queenstown, New Zealand;  all the fatigue just disappeared. Queenstown is also known as the adventure capital of the world and famous for its adventure sports like bungy jumping, sky diving, skiing and more.

The New Zealand hospitality didn’t make me feel away from home at all. I really like how people greet in New Zealand by saying Kia ora (means welcome). Coming from a country that is known for its culture, I didn’t feel any lack of cultural aspect in this modern but natural country. The country has adopted the modernisation at a global level with its culture and tradition preserved. This balance between modernisation and cultural preservation is what makes this country unique. The valleys, hilly towns, and breathtaking views mesmerize you and make you feel like never leaving the place.

I will definitely look forward to experiencing this amazing country again and explore more in near future, be it for studies, working or living long term.
