About ILA NZ

Serving the community is the main purpose behind the establishment of Immigration Law Advice NZ Ltd. Mō te oranga pai is the Maori translation of “For a better life”. Maori is New Zealand’s native language. Maori, English, and Sign are New Zealand’s three official languages. Our fee is reasonable as compared to other competitors in this field.

At Immigration Law Advice NZ Ltd., we understand that how important it is for migrants to get their visas approved from Immigration New Zealand. Getting the eligible visa is the first step in their efforts to settle in a foreign land.

We give professional and accurate advice based on the circumstances of each case. However, it would be fair to say that the decision maker that is Immigration New Zealand makes the final decision. As long as we provide the correct documentation to Immigration New Zealand, which is required under the immigration law, we can assure our clients for a fair result.

Immigration Law Advice NZ Ltd was established in 2016 from a graduate of Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology (formerly known as Bay of Plenty Polytechnic). As per Immigration New Zealand in order to provide immigration advice, one has to complete an approved qualification and be licensed from Immigration Advisers Authority (IAA) New Zealand.

As per section 19(5) of the Immigration Advisers Licensing Act 2007, the provisional licence holder must work under the direct supervision of a full licence holder (the supervisor). Under clause 12 of the Licensed Immigration Advisers Code of Conduct 2014, the supervisor must maintain the confidentiality of the provisional licence holder’s clients.

Tim Shadbolt at ILA NZ with Vinay Sood and Mrs. Babita Sood.
“It is indeed a pleasure to endorse Mr. Vinay Sood – New Zealand Licensed Immigration Adviser who has established an enterprise to offer Immigration Services in Invercargill. I travelled throughout Sri Lanka with him to attract students to Invercargill and was impressed by his professional approach in dealing with both students and overseas education agencies.
I have no hesitation in commending him for his enterprise.”
Tim Shadbolt
Former Mayor of Invercargill , New Zealand
